Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SQLMate ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License

Subject to these terms, Yevhenii Pylypenko ("Developer") grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SQLMate on Apple-branded devices you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

Mac App Store

SQLMate is distributed through the Apple Mac App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated here by reference. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA governs with respect to App Store-specific matters.

Your Data

SQLMate operates on database files stored on your device. You retain full ownership of and responsibility for any data you open, create, or modify using the App. The Developer has no access to your data.

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your database files. The App modifies SQLite files directly; always keep backups of important data before using any database management tool.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

The Developer's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

Updates and Changes

The Developer may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates may change or remove features. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes.

The Developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies in your possession.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
